Jack
and Alvida Browne Family Foundation
In September of 1999, Jack and Alvida Browne gifted a permanent
charitable endowment of $1,000,000 to the greater community of Wadena.
Through the Minnesota Foundation, the family created the Jack and
Alvida Browne Family Foundation.
Grant
Guidelines and Application Procedures:
The
Jack and Alvida Browne Family Foundation has been established to
enhance the general welfare of the greater Wadena, Minnesota area
and to benefit the greater Wadena community through the use of grant
funds in the focus areas of:
* Arts
* Education
* Recreation
* Economic
Development
* Historic
& Environmental Preservation
Application
Deadline:
The
Trustees will accept applications once per year. Applications are
due on May 1st and awarded in June. Application forms will be mailed
upon written or verbal request.
Eligibility:
Applications
must meet the following criteria:
A) Applicants
applying for grant funds must serve the residents and community
of the greater Wadena area.
B)
Applicants must be non-profit organizations which have a 501(c)(3)
tax exempt status of the Internal Revenue Code and to government
agencies.
